Been quite busy so can't blog much, looks like I'm gonna skip the WIP Part 2 for Hi-Nu Gundoom, or just minimise it.
Today's post is about my loot from 2011 Mid-year Bandai Action Kits Universal Cup(BAKUC) event held at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre(MIECC) @ The Mines.
Litt Tak, the distributor for Bandai products in Malaysia, took this chance to have a small warehouse sales during this event, and here are what I bought from there:
*Definitely not bought MG 00 Qan[T], it's just the paper bags containing my purchases XP
Quite nice designs on the bags, going to store it nicely =D
Here's what's inside...
List:
MG MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam 2.0 (RM165)
HG MSN-04 Sazabi GPB Color (RM150)
The purpose of me going there today is to buy a second unit of MG ReZEL Commander Type, because I've been informed that it is selling for RM135 only!
Originally I've decided not to go, as MIECC is not near to my house and not very convenient to go there, but this awesome price changed my mind!
However, after going all the way there, lost the way a bit in between, frustratingly searched for parking, finding the way to the exhibition hall, looking around for ReZEL Commander Type......
Found the last unit on sale, and you know what? The price tag shows RM165!
I thought it may be a typo, so I asked a staff, and to my dismay, he told me that was the true price!
I interrogated further that I was told it was RM135, and the staff told me that yesterday's price of RM135 was a typo, those who bought it yesterday were lucky!!!
CAN YOU IMAGINE MY RAGE?!?!
How irony that I thought RM165 price was a typo but in fact actually is the RM135 price that was a typo!
Damn I was so pissed off, I passed up on buying the kit although it was still cheaper than usual price, but I don't want to went all the way there just to leave empty handed, so I choosed the MG Zeta 2.0.
In forum(lowyat.net), members were saying how awesome the white Sazabi was, and it's a limited event only edition, but I didn't want to buy due to it's a HG kit(an expensive one too).
But I saw the assembled kit on display at BAKUC and I immediately decided to buy it, because of the large size of Sazabi for a HG kit, and the white colour is awesomely cool! Felt like a guardian knight xD
I didn't have time to post some of my purchases last week from Berjaya Times Square:
List:
RG GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam (RM90)
Mr. Super Clear Flat (RM39)
Mr. Super Clear Gloss (RM39)
Hell I'm so regretting buying the RG Aile Strike, because it was on sale at the warehouse sale for RM80 only! Bundled free with Action Base 3 some more!
EDIT: I misunderstood sbout the RG Aile Strike promo, it is not bundled with Action Base 3. The promo is if you buy RG Aile Strike + Action Base 3, you'll get a free 3D RG Aile Strike postcard. Sorry for any misunderstanding caused.
Kinda lots of disappointment today, not to mention burnt a hole in my wallet >_<
That's it for this post, kinda long winded, LOL

Mcmodel RX-93 Nu Gundoom - Unboxing
This is the first model kit released by Mcmodel: HG 1/144 RX-93 Nu Gundoom.
Front/top/bottom/side view:
*Sorry for unable to show a prefect look of the box due to it being dented during courier, but you can still see how nice is the boxart. Nu Gundoom looks very menacing and it looks like it just destroyed an enemy behind with the explosion.
The contents:
*There are a total of 15 runners in this kit, one runner short of Hi-Nu Gundoom. I think the reason for the number of runners is the funnels.
I haven't mentioned that this kit comes with 12 funnels in total!
As seen at the pictures on the box, you can equip Nu Gundoom with 12 funnels to look like wings, kinda Gundam Wing craze, huh?
Not to mention you get 2 bazookas in this kit also.
There's a drawing that looks like a launch bay hangar inside of the box
*I think this is pretty neat and it can be used to display Nu Gundoom preparing for launch, though I don't think I'm gonna use it due to the box is badly dented and it's very space consuming.
Box size comparison with Hi-Nu Gundoom:
*The Hi-Nu Gundoom's box totally dwarfs the Nu Gundoom's box, LOL
You can almost fit 2 boxes of Nu Gundoom inside it!
That's it for this post and there won't be a WIP for Nu Gundoom because I'm doing speed building on it, which I snap fit it first only paint and panel line.

Mcmodel RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundoom - WIP Part 1
I started work on the funnels first as it is the most tedious and time consuming part of the whole assembly.
Imagine have to repeat the steps 6 times(with some steps 12 times), you'll be bored to death in no time =_=
The funnels fully assembled and panel lined:
*The joints holding the funnels together were white originally, I've painted them black.
Notice how much details the funnels have? That's the reason for my slow progress of panel lining them =_=
Unlike original design where the funnels are pretty flat and simple.
Funnel in attack mode:
I've also painted all the thrusters in this kit with silver on the outside and gold on the inside.
Currently having gold and silver bling fetish XD
The upper torso, head and waist assembly are pretty straight forward, not much painting needed and panel linings are a breeze =D
*I've painted the chest air intakes with silver(again =P), which are originally dull gray.
The head's design made the eyes barely visible, lol.
You can't see from the photo, but I painted the eyes with gold instead of using the foil sticker given.
The V-fin and side skirt armors falls off easily at the slightest touch =_=
So I had them fixed in placed with Mr. Cement.
The front skirt armor are pretty loose, not loose in terms of easy to come off(which is not possible anyway based on the mount design), but loose like it tends to flap around unnecessary.
Still thinking of a way to make the joints tighter.
The tail stabilizer, one word: HUGE
*This tail stabilizer's design is waaaaaay cooler and more menacing looking than the original Hi-Hu's!
'Blinged' up thrusters XP
Legs, arms, funnels backpack and propellant tanks currently in progress, much more painting needed compare to the other parts.
I have assembled the weapons and shield but haven't panel lined them yet.
To be continued in part 2 =D.

As my earlier post said, i paid RM80 to buy this Nu Gundoom and had it posted to my house.
I missed the first delivery attempt on Monday so I requested them to deliver it again today.
Yesterday went Berjaya Times Square and had a double movie with my best buddy.

I also bought a few more stuffs:
Gundam Marker GM01 Black (RM8)
Gundam Marker GM02 Gray (RM8)
Gundam Decal 31 - MG 1/100 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam (RM18)

Mr. Mark Setter, get!
Finally bought Mr. Mark Setter from Toyz N Hobbies at e@Curve. =D
Pic taken using Nikon D5000 with Sigma 50mm f/1.4 and Nikon SB900
Mr. Mark Setter (RM13)
Mr. Hobby Mr. Color - Clear Gloss (RM25)
Decided to buy the Mr. Hobby clear gloss spray instead of Mr. Super Clear since it's smaller.
Wouldn't use much of it anyway, will only use to spray over metallic areas.
Went 1 Utama before going over to e@Curve.
Bought a bunch of mangas(local printed chinese version), spent RM44 =X
Looks like purchase of RG Aile Strike need to delay *facepalm*
And I missed my parcel of Mcmodel Nu Gundoom when I went out, dang!
Either have to go Skynet office collect or call them to send another day.
Assembling of Mcmodel Hi-Nu Gundoom is under progress, though very SLOWLY.
Lots of parts needed to be painted, and hell lot of details to be panel lined, all these taking up a lot of time =_=.
Will post up a WIP soon, stay tuned!
*Forgot to add in, bought Dengeki Hobby TW ver March issue from Popular at Ikano xD

Mcmodel RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundoom - Unboxing
Model Comprehend Model, or Mcmodel in short, is a China company that make their own Gundam kits designs.
Unlike TT Hongli or GaoGao, where they copy exactly Bandai's parts and design.
Though their kits are still count as bootleg because they don't have the license to produce and distribute Gundam products, lol
This Mcmodel HG 1/144 RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundoom is their 3rd product to be released.
Their first was HG 1/144 RX-93 Nu Gundoom, and the 2nd was SD Nightingale.
My first impression of the Mcmodel RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundoom's box: BIG
According to Mcmodel's grading it's only HG and 1/144 scale, but the box's size was way much bigger than most Bandai's MG boxes
Front view and back view:
*The box art is very nice in my opinion, much nicer than Bandai's MG Hi-Nu. And the back of the box, EPIC beautiful!!! This is a plus for China makers, unlike Bandai giving boring plain back. Thinking of cutting the back out and use it as a wallpaper =P.
Just too bad with the word "Gundoom" makes it awkward XD
Top/bottom/side view:
*Top and bottom view are the same, so I'm showing 1 only
Size comparison with Bandai MG ReZEL Commander-Type box:
*As you can see, in terms of height they are almost the same, with the Hi-Nu box higher by a cm! The width of the ReZEL box is slightly wider than Hi-Nu's, but the depth/thickness of the Hi-Nu is way more than the ReZEL, lol!
The Hi-Nu's box opens at the sides with flap covers, unlike standard Bandai boxes where the boxart is the top cover and is taken out whole.
The inner box:
*Beats me how they translate the chinese words into "Special Collectible for The First Time", it doesn't sound right to me, and they couldn't have used google translate cause google translate gave "First Edition Premiere", lol
The cover of the inner box contains the special parts provided in the first batch production of this kit
View of inside of inner box and the contents:
*The box contents feels empty. The runners and manual aren't many enough to fill up the box, so I'm guessing the purpose of them using such a big box is as a marketing gimmick only.
There are a total of 16 runners including the special beams runner. That's alot for a HG!
The special parts given for first batch production includes a set of special beams for beam saber, a set of water decals, and the main attraction, wing effects parts and booster effects parts.
*The wings effects parts are damn awesome! In the manual there's pics of Hi-Nu posing with the wings effects and the result is darn cool!!! Can't wait to assemble it and see the results with my own eyes XD
That's all for the unboxing of Mcmodel RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundoom. Most likely will post some Work-in-progress(WIP) posts on this, stay tune!
